I raced the wind with spotted speed,
and pointed with such pride,
My instincts sharp, my heart in sync,
I always stayed your guide.
Through field and stream I leapt with joy,
in every step, a spark —
A symphony of energy,
precision, and a bark.
Now in a place of endless hunts,
where birds rise with no end,
I zig and zag through golden grass
with angels as my friend.
Look out across the distance,
where the meadow meets the blue —
You’ll see me frozen mid-point still,
forever watching you.
