Beagle
My nose led me through every trail,
my howl a woodland song,
With floppy ears and stubborn cheer,
I’d tag along all day long.
I sniffed your shoes and stole your snacks,
then curled up in a ball —
A merry little mystery,
the hound who loved it all.
Now every path leads straight to joy,
each breeze a scent of love,
I chase the smells of angels now,
through forests far above.
When wind stirs leaves or distant
howls drift gently through the air,
Just know your little tracker
still follows you with care.
