I chased each splash, each tennis ball,
beneath the sunlit skies,
You gave me snacks and belly rubs,
a home I called my own—
My tail a metronome of joy,
my love without disguise.
Now I watch you from the clouds,
where rivers run full-grown.

No leash, no pain, just endless
fields and lakes that shimmer wide,
Don’t cry too long,
just smile and know we had a perfect run—
I fetch the stars now in my dreams,
with angels at my side.
And when you walk where daisies bloom,
I’ll greet you in the sun.
