I ruled the room with lion fluff
and confidence galore,
My bark could shake the very walls,
my strut—a tiny roar.
With pride and puff, I claimed your lap,
your heart, your every mood—
A fireball in a feathered frame,
with attitude imbued.
Now angels carry me like wind,
my fur a glowing spark,
I light the path where memories dance
and never lose their bark.
So if you feel a sudden warmth,
or think you hear a squeal,
That’s me—your pocket lion—
still spinning at your heel.
