I stood like steel, but lived for love,
your sentinel, your fire,
With muscle wrapped in elegance,
and eyes that never tire.
My purpose clear, my loyalty sharp,
I never turned away —
I was your storm and shelter both,
your shadow night and day.
Now through the gates I stride again,
no pain to make me slow,
A noble guard with silent paws,
where only good dogs go.
If ever you feel watched at night
or courage starts to rise,
It’s me — your proud defender —
still beneath your skies.
