Rainbow Bridge Farewell to a
Boston Terrier
I wore my tux to every meal and
snored with perfect grace,
A gremlin full of zoomies with a
squishy, squinty face.
I charmed the socks off everyone,
my antics made them grin —
A gentleman with gassy flair
and heart that lived within.
Now heaven has no dinner bells —
I dine with ghosts and kings,
And zoom through pearly corridors
with joyful little wings.
So if you feel a silly nudge
or hear a phantom fart —
Just laugh, my friend — that’s Boston love
still playing with your heart.
