Bernese Mountain Dog
I carried snowflakes in my coat
and love within my eyes.
With strength and calm, I stayed near you
through all of life’s goodbyes.
My giant heart was soft and wide,
a comfort through the storm—
a gentle soul in tricolor,
who kept your spirit warm.
Now, in a land of alpine peaks,
I run with breeze and grace,
where daisies bloom beneath my steps
and sunshine warms my face.
You’ll feel me in the mountain air,
the stillness of the trees—
forever near, a Bernese hug,
wrapped gently in the breeze.
