Husky
I howled to moons and pulled
the wind with mischief in my soul,
With eyes of frost and fire both,
adventure was my goal.
A rebel heart, a northern spark,
I danced on snowy air,
And left behind a trail of joy
and fur stuck everywhere.
Now northern lights guide every run,
my sled a streak of light,
I race with stars across the sky and
sleep with wolves at night.
When wind begins to whisper wild
and snowflakes kiss your face —
That’s me still tugging at the leash,
still craving one more race.
