Rainbow Bridge Farewell to a
Yorkshire Terrier
I ruled the room with silky grace
and barked with noble flair,
So small in size, but bold inside,
with courage none could dare.
My loyalty, a lion’s heart,
tucked in a velvet frame,
A Yorkie soul, all sass and gold,
who always knew your name.
Now angels clip my flowing coat
and bow me with the skies,
They whisper songs and braid my mane
while love behind me lies.
You’ll find me in your pockets still,
in dreams that twirl and spin,
For greatness isn’t measured by the height —
it comes from within.
